Shannon's Footprint

An obsession with rocks, being outside, and taking beautiful scenic photos, maps, as far back as the memory can go. Has turned into a lifelong passion. Now, a graduated BS Geoscience major, with an emphasis in geospatial technologies, turned to being in the field on a survey crew as a career choice, and an amateur photographer on the side (This is a joke, my photos aren’t that fabulous, I just love to take them). This blog is a platform to share, learn, on the day to day interactions, how they came about, between earth and all it holds, and how technology aids. Along with some pretty decent photos.  Pretty much just the thoughts provoking the brain, and what the eyes see, of one nerdy STEM woman.
